Old Chicago

I've been curious about this establishment for quite some time now.  So when I got the call to go and check it out I was good to go.  I met my friend, let's call him Henry, later on in the evening.  As I was parking my car I noticed a flurry of people all around.  Good sign I thought to myself.  I walked in and made an immediate left into the bar.  Wow.  It was a pretty small section of the restaurant and it was packed with people.  The crowd consisted mostly of young twenty somethings, lots of young hotties, but who's counting.  Sorry, lost my train of thought.  :)  Alas I didn't see my so called partner in crime.  After a few minutes we found each other and decided that it would be fine to find a spot inside the restaurant.  There were  plenty of large tables and small booths to accommodate whatever kind of party you come with.  The beer menu is very extensive, over 100 choices.  Yeah.  They also serve fancy wines and cocktails.  Happy Hour is from  4-6pm and 10p-1am.  I was a bad egg and didn't check out the appetizer menu but I'm sure that it has some tasty items on it.  The service was good and the atmosphere pleasant.  There was no pressure to eat and leave.  It was a relaxing evening filled with beer, conversation and even a thumb wrestling match.  Note to self, Henry is a fierce competitor.  ha ha.  Definitely worth checking out for a Happy Hour or an outing with your family.
